Good tacos, good service and a traditional Mexican atmosphere in Denver. We loved the tacos al pastor, carnitas and birria. The horchata was also a good balance to the spiceness, however the top combination was the quesabirrias would come back just for that. In addition the service was really friendly and helpful.

After church we wanted something different and to see if we could find a decent taco place since my taco truck spot is closed on Sundays and after getting a taste of Venalonzo’s at Roxy’s I wanted hubby to try it! The quesibrias are great! The sauces are the best and they add just what’s needed to give your taco or whatever you order a kick! The service is quick, fast and in a hurry! No long wait for food, that’s for sure. The space is cute with sombreros and piñatas remind me of birthdays and celebrations! Very festive!!!

Absolutely fantastic place for a Tijuana classic, Quesabirria. The beef in the quesabirria was tender, juicy & flavorful not to mention the consomé that it comes with is delicious enough to drink (I did ) & adds another level of straight up deliciousness! We ordered the nachos and we chose the quesabirria as the protein, fantastic! The nachos were balanced, not too much of any one ingredient, lil’ bit of everything for each bite. Topping it off they have Corona Familiar the better and preferred Mexican beer. Look, plain and simple if you want truly good eats at a ridiculously fair price Venalonzo’s Tacos is without a doubt a destination, highly recommended!

A 5 star taco joint! For what it is, can’t beat it! Probably the best small family taco place I’ve had! The Barrera pizza is unbelievable! The tacos are fantastic. They are always packed but food comes out super quick and the service and staff super! Generous portions and reasonable prices! Have been back several times and will continue to eat here!

This place has a lot of great reviews on social media and had to try it for myself. It's family owned, which is a plus, and the style of cooking is from the Mexican state of Guerrero. The star of the show is going to be the Quesa Birria Tacos, and the consume broth comes with it. It's amazing, well cooked. The broth for the birria is amazing and very, very flavorful. The second winner must try is the birria ramen. Simple and very filling, and again, that broth comes in to save the day with flavor. I had the street tacos as well. The Barbacoa was above average as well as the pastor. The carne asada taco was average in flavor. Good portions, good service, good ambiance, and great music. It's definitely a must go for Mexican quick eats.

Food is absolutely five star. Staff is amazing. Prices are very reasonable. Nice little bar of toppings with likes, chili onions, salsas, etc. (no charge). Long line? No issue they have multiple people walking through it to help order (Chick-Fil-A style) usually during busy times. Nice little patio tables out front so you can dine in the sun. If you like good tacos, burritos, or even the slightly avante-garde birria egg rolls (yes, they have those) look no further.

First time in and will definitely not be my last. Tucked away in a strip mall parking lot. The place looks very unassuming. We showed up at 5:00 on a Sunday and we're able to order right away. It got really busy by 5:30. I love the salsa bar. Ordered at the counter and they brought the food out to us. Between the three of us we got quesabirria tacos, a chimichanga, and a burrito. They were all excellent. Prices were really reasonable given how good the food is.

My rule before I post for any restaurant is you have to visit it three different times and get multiple different things. And I must say this place is simply amazing! Is every single thing on their menu great no, but majority of the stuff is. They don't skimp on the meat, Flavor is an explosion in your mouth and you have so many choices. It is a smaller restaurant so the only downside is it is always busy during lunch and dinner and finding a restaurant lace to sit is hard. The staff is friendly and the best part they have a fresh salsa bar!! Definitely will be a regular at this spot!!
